Hey there, The sad thing is that Kenzie was born with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia. I'm no good at explaining the details, but it means that she will undergo several surgeries in her lifetime. The first one was on Monday. I am happy to say that the first surgery was a success. Now we are patiently waiting for her to heal so we can bring her home. The next will be in 6-12 months. So keep your thoughts and prayers out there for Kenzie. Thank you!
Important Changes to the NewsletterYou may note that the format of this newsletter has changed. I had a few problems with emails reaching fans via Reverbnation, so I moved everyone back to my old list-server so that you will more easily receive my news updates. I hope you like the format, and please let me know if you're receiving the newsletter. Course, if you don't want to be on this list, just scroll to the bottom and unsubscribe. It's safe and I won't bother you again. Oh! And I AM still using reverbnation for my Street Teams. So if you want to help promote my music, subscribe to that email list as well at www.reverbnation.com/marcgunn. Louisiana Renaissance Festival Opens This WeekendMy home faire kicked off it's first weekend with a bang last weekend. This is my third year performing solo with the faire, and I lost track of how many years I've been there. But I hope you will come out and join me once again. The first three weekends, I will play music at the Painted Badger Pub (showtimes: 11:45a, 1:45p, 4:00p) sharing some rowdy sing-alongs. The last three weekends I go guerrilla! ;) Visit www.larf.org for details.

Marc Gunn Updates on FacebookLast month, I decided to turn Facebook into one of my primary marketing mediums. I'm spending a lot of time chatting with fans, sharing news, talking about the days events, you name it. In fact, I even setup several pages dedicated to a few of my projects.
Some come on by and chat with me.
Help Promote Marc Gunn on iTunesI know not everyone has access to iTunes. But I learned a new way to promote myself on iTunes this summer, and I've become a promotional fiend. Once a month, I put together a new list of some of the most-popular songs on the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast, and I ask you to rate the iMix. Just head over to www.marcgunn.com/imix and click the links. The links should open your iTunes program where you can rate the mix. Each song on that iMix will gain popularity points on iTunes and send those songs and albums up the charts. It's that simple. If there's a band missing, drop by facebook. Every month, I'm looking for a few suggestions from YOU! For those NOT on iTunes, keep an eye open. I'll be doing some promotion on Amazon in the near future.
