Wow! Time flew by. I was just reminded that the Louisiana Renaissance Festival is just one week away!
Now for starters, I should remind anyone who wants to see me perform there, I will only be performing for the first three weekends. That is November 5th through the 20th, just on the weekends. I have only TWO official shows at 11:00am and 4:15pm at the Painted Badger. I will also add music for the whisky tastings and Madame Ghislaine's famous Wine Tastings.
That's it. I know it's early and late in the day, but I need all the support I can get to those two tough time slots.
Please spread the word and bring a friend.
LARF Entertainment for 2011
It looks like there's a lot more great new acts for 2011. Our usual favorites will be there. Paolo Garbanzo and Robin Hood and Maid Marion are back on the Queen's Stage. The Duelists return after several years absence. They will share the stage with The Bilge Pumps and their own pirate musical comedy. Haggis Rampant is back at the Celtic Green to rock the bagpipes. Back in the lanes are Vince Conaway and the award-winning Craig of Farrington.
I'll be sharing the stage with Wandering Gypsy Theater, The Other Woman and Neid Fyre. Wandering Gypsy Theater are some hilariously funny gals. Lots of awesome, bad puns and funniness. The Other Woman offers music, comedy and the world's oldest profession into a gut-wrenching naughty fun show. I'm really excited to catch Neid Fyre at long last. I've enjoyed Mel's music and chatting with her online for several years now.
That's just a small taste of the many acts performing at LARF this year. There's a lot more even after I leave. So check the schedule and don't miss this year's events.
Oh! And keep an ear open on the Renaissance Festival Podcast. I'll try to pull together some interviews.
Who are you looking forward to seeing this year?
