The thing I remember most about Mont Saint-Michel was the steps. There are a LOT of them. Wear good shoes if you ever go.
That said, Mont Saint-Michel left a lasting impression on me. I remember the spectacular views, people walking on the sand during low tide, and the many interesting shops. I wish I had more time to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Maybe one day, I can stay at a hotel there. Much like I'm hoping to do when I visit Venice, Italy this summer with my family.
WHAT'S NEW?
There's a lot of new stuff this past week. Here's the short list:
- New episode of In the ‘Verse. Mikey Mason and I talk about the Rankin & Bass animated classic film, The Hobbit. We both share new songs for the show
- The Celtic Christmas Podcast introduces you to Abbots Cross' Christmas music.
- I finally shared Loreena McKennitt's story of “The Lady of Shalott” on Pub Songs & Stories.
- I found and share a poem I wrote back in 2005 called “Wildflowers Calling“.
- You can find out what kind of changes will happen to Coffee with The Celtfather in 2022 if you're a member of the Gunn Runners Club.
- Don't miss my Christmas Driving Music playlist on Spotify. There is another Celtic Christmas playlist coming out later this week as well.
- I have a Celtfather Livestream concert happening this Thursday at 7:30 PM Eastern on Bandcamp.
- And finally, there are a whole bunch of CDs and other merch I found and posted in my store. It's still not too late to get Celtic Christmas Greetings Cards, complete with a CD. 🙂
The Christmas tree is up. Presents are wrapped. We are all set for the holiday.
Nollaig shona duit!
