Postcard: Victorian Gardens at Kylemore Abbey

It was so wonderful seeing the Victorian Walled Gardens at Kylemore Abbey. I went there over 10 years ago. We were attacked by the midges. Midges are like biting flies or swarms of mosquitoes. I literally ran through the gardens instead of enjoying them. This was a wonderful change. There wasn't as much blooming this year. But I had fun running through sprinklers and just soaking up the gorgeous plant life, like this tree. How amazing is that?!?!

This past weekend, we ran off to Charleston where my wife has a conference. No shows. But this coming Sunday, I'm heading back to Huntsville, Alabama. There's a Nerdy: Midsummer Market put on by some of the folks who join me at MAGGIE MCGUINNESS Pub every year.

Speaking of Maggie McGuinnness, subscribe to Pub Songs & Stories, I have a live recording from this year's performance at the pub. It is super fun!
