Welcome to the podcast. I am Marc Gunn. And i’m gonna start with a song by national poet of Scotland, Robert Burns.

This whole year, I’ve been super pleased with Pub Songs & Stories. It’s turning into a fun, engaging show. The one problem I have with it is that right now I can only seem to put out one episode per month, even with the kids back in school.

I don’t mind putting out one a month. But it would be wonderful if I could put the show out more frequently. Once a week. But there’s that time issue. And there’s also the mind issue. Organizing my thoughts and what not.

So I was talking with my editor Mitchell. He suggested shorter episodes. Mentally, that works a lot better for me. One of the drawbacks of the 30-40 minute episodes is compiling all the stories and putting it together. So if I just kept short. That might could work. And it would be a lot more like some of my original episodes. Where I got to talk about what’s new. But I don’t have to. Just if I wanted to. I could have an episode to share quite easily.

So from now through September. I’m gonna give this a try. Mentally, it is already easier. But we shall see.

I would love your thoughts though. You can email me marc@marcgunn.com or you can let me know in the Celtic Geeks group on Facebook.
