St Patrick's Day is a big time of year for me. It's not just live performances either since Paddy's Day is on a Saturday. It's EVERYTHING from live shows to podcasts to videos and more. I have a LOT going on. So I'm gonna break it all down right here, so you can more easily be on top of everything that's happening with The Celtfather.
1. Irish & Celtic Music Podcast featured on Apple Podcasts
I don't know how many times the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast has been featured by Apple Podcasts, but I am extremely grateful that they do it frequently. We should see another bump in downloads this year because we were just featured once again.
This year, we have two St Patrick's Day features. The first came out last Thursday and highlights the “Celtic Music Top 20 for St Patrick's Day.” These are you picks of the Top 20 songs and tunes of 2017.
This Thursday, you'll enjoy 17 for St Patrick's Day. There will be 17 tracks in the show and you can download ALL 17 songs for free!
If you're not already subscribed, Apple Podcasts is a great tool for listening to this and all of my shows. Get it and 34 Celtic MP3s for Free at BestCelticMusic.net.
2. Learn 10 St Patrick's Day Facts
Celtfather Music & Travel is my personal public podcast. Say that three times fast. This week's show highlights St Patrick's Day facts. You may or may not know these things. But to make it more interesting, I paired the facts with musical recommendations that you can enjoy in my Geek Pub Songs playlist on Spotify.
3. Remember the New CD!
I would be extremely negligent if I didn't mention my new CD. It's called As Long As I'm Flyin' and features music inspired by Joss Whedon's canceled TV show Firefly. The album was released last week. You can find out more about the album in Celtfather Music & Travel or in a bunch of podcast interviews I did.
You can buy or stream the album everywhere online. You can also own it when you go Behind-the-Scenes of the Gunn Runners Club on Patreon.
Oh! Make sure you check out the Deluxe Package! You can even save 20% if you're a patron.
4. Watch St Patrick's Day Concerts Online
I played a LOT of St Patrick's Day concerts that you can watch on YouTube. Most recently is the Shiny St Patrick's Day CD Release Party from last Thursday. That show is only available through March 17th though. So watch it now!
If you would prefer just to listen to the show, it's available as an audio download for another week as well in my Bandcamp Store.
You can register to watch the next CeltfatherLive concert here.
You can find several of my past St Patrick's Day internet concerts on YouTube.
5. Watch The Celther Perform Live in Birmingham, Alabama
I have two more shows planned for St Patrick's Day. The first is also my CD release party. So there will be a lot of drinking songs. Not all of them will be Irish. The second will be at FOUR different venues on my birthday, March 17th. Yes, I am a St Patrick's Day baby.
- Friday, March 16 at 8 PM CST at Interstellar Ginger Beer and Exploration Co.
- Saturday, March 17 at Five Points in Birmingham, Alabama
You will find any updates to my schedule on my St Patrick's Day Music Party website. While you're there check out the store. I highlight some great St. Patrick's Day gifts.
6. Top Irish & Celtic Music for St Patrick's Day on Spotify

8. Relive Fond St Patrick's Day Memories on March 22
Finally, I want to invite you to an incredible concert event. It's my next CeltfatherLive show on Thursday, March 22nd. No, you won't need tickets. BUT you will need to be one of my Heroes on Patreon in the Gunn Runners Club. These folks are pledging $10+ per month to join the Club.
This month, I'm trying out an exclusive concert just for these patrons. The monthly ticket price will be waived. I hope you will join me for this amazing concert experience.
PS. Oh! And did I mention I have a new live video single of “Doctor of Gallifrey”?
