The benefit at Things Celtic the other day was a resounding success. We raised a few hundred dollars. I want to thank Lanora and everyone who showed up for the event. I even had some folks skip The Chieftains show to attend mine. So again, thank you!

One of the highlights for me (show and songs excluded) was hearing about Rie Sheridan Rose‘s new book. It was described as Lord of the Rings meets Huckleberry Finn. Does that sound awesome or what?
