Podcasts are super easy to listen to. I try to make it even easier to remove any stress that might be associated with. But the first thing you need to know is that most podcasts, about 99% of them are audio-only. There are very few podcasts that are videos. Some YouTubers are calling video shows podcasts, but that's not exactly accurate. Let me explain…
“WHAT IS A PODCAST?”
A podcast is basically a digital file that downloads to your device. That's a key concept for podcasts. It downloads to your phone (most podcasts are listened to on your phone, but you can also listen on a computer). To you, it will seem like it's streaming, but it is not. A file is downloading.
The file is usually downloaded through a podcast players (or podcatcher). Some of the biggest podcast players are Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, and Spotify. My favorite is Overcast, but it's only available on Apple.
Here is the Amazing thing about podcasts. Whenever a new show is published, it automatically downloads to your device. Then you can listen to it any time you want.
It's not like a broadcast radio or TV show that you watch at a specific time. It's more like Netflix. You can listen to a podcast whenever you are ready to do so. It's downloaded on your phone.
That also means if the podcast host removes an episode from their feed, if it's on your phone, it's still there for you to enjoy.
“WHICH PODCAST PLAYER SHOULD I USE?”

I recommend you go to Celtfather.net You will find just two buttons to subscribe, iPhone which links to Apple Podcasts for Apple Devices or Android which links to Google Podcasts.
Apple Podcast is an app that is on every iPhone. It’s the easiest way to listen to a podcast. Click the link. Follow the show. Start listening.
Android devices do not have a native app. You have to download an app. I usually recommend Google Podcast because you can listen to the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast (which you can't do on Spotify).
Once you download the app, click the follow or subscribe button. New shows will download every week. They are 100% free to listen. It's are a great way to connect with me and my music as well as the music of other indie Celtic bands just like me.
