I'm working on a new compilation CD. You could call it a Best of Marc Gunn, but it's not really. And I don't think. Rather, the album features one track from each of the 20 solo albums I've released since I released Soul of a Harper in 2005. I tried to pick some of my most-popular recordings of songs. I confess. That got hard at times. So I then tried picking the songs that I actually enjoyed playing at shows.
Now I need to figure out an title for the album. Below I list two album titles I'm considering. Which appeals to you more? Or do you have another suggestion? List it below.
Now you may be wondering what's on this album? Here's the track list at present.
- Star of the County Down from How America Saved Irish Music
- Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits from Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits
- Come Take a Trip in My Airship from Sci Fi Drinking Songs
- The Leprechaun from St Patrick's Day Songs for Kids
- Wild Mountain Thyme from The Bridge
- Catnipped Kitty from Whiskers in the Jar
- Silhouette of Longing Love from A Tribute to Love
- Johnny Jump Up from Happy Songs of Death
- Close Your Eyes from Kilted For Her Pleasure
- Monahan's Mudders Milk from Firefly Drinking Songs
- Gollum Blues from What Color Is Your Dragon
- The Bridge from Soul of a Harper
- Red-Haired Boy Lilting from St Patrick's Day Songs for Kids
- Molly Malone from Irish Pub Songs Companion
- Lord of the Pounce from Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers
- Kilkelly Ireland from Not Every Day Is St. Patrick's Day

- I'll Tell My Ma from Irish Drinking Songs: Cat Companion

Hi A Top o’ the Gunn
Mar-ked Re-lees
this is to be a physical cd that you can play in a cd player correct not just on the computer correct—? I think the choice of song is fabulous . It will be played many many times over at my apt— I might change one song– I prefer the Christmas in Kilarne or the Fourth Wise Man but just my own opinion…
Looks great!
