The great thing about working from home is when it snows and you're stuck at home, you can do work.

Okay that's not a fair assessment, since I have a family. On Tuesday, Birmingham and a lot of the South was covered with snow. No big deal for those up North, but our city was unprepared. There's a steep hill that goes into and out of my neighborhood. I tried ten times to drive out to pick up my daughter from daycare. Instead, I was forced to walk the five miles to pick her up.

Though even that's not a totally fair assessment thanks to all the kind souls who saw me with a stroller and cut the ten mile trek in half.

During my down time, I spent a lot of time finally booking some gigs. My schedule finally looks a lot more like a real musician's schedule with house concerts, sci fi conventions, and farmer's markets booked. Check out the schedule here.
