Concert Workout Behind Closed Doors

Before I close the doors, I want to let you know that there is a FREE INTERNET CONCERT happening this Thursday, October 17 at 9 PM Eastern. You can watch it on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

I have to keep reminding myself so I don't forget too. LOL. Feel free to email a reminder to me on Thursday.

And of course don't forget Coffee with The Celtfather on Wednesday.

Oh! If you too want a reminder about the show this week. Make sure you subscribe to Celtfather Shows on Reverbnation. Just sign up to that mailing list. I will email you Thursday morning.

The days just keep flying by as I try to get control of my work and home life. My email seems under control. But until I get ahead on releasing podcasts, I just don't know. And finishing the itinerary for the Celtic Invasion of the Veneto.

Happily, I did go for a short run this morning. My cross country coach in high school said that running was 95% inspiration and 5% perspiration.

I never had much inspiration. It came briefly last year. But it faded after the move. Now I want to recapture it.

Stories from the Road

Value. I know I create podcasts every week. The Irish & Celtic Music Podcast has been weekly for about five years. The Pub Songs Podcast is every other week. New to the mix is the Stories from the Road podcast.

I have published this show (just about) monthly since about 2014 when I started my Insiders Circle on Patreon (Gunn Runners Club). I finally figured out how to merge it to the Pub Songs Podcast so I can offer both free public content as well as private content every week.

It's still new. So we shall see how it develops. IF I can keep up with it.

I bounce around among so many different projects, I hate to say it's a regular thing, at least until it's been going for a few years.

Nevertheless, I'm pleased with the new podcast. My goal is to put a new Stories from the Road podcast out twice a week. I think that's actually easy enough to do IF I can remember.

But is it putting too much on my plate? Eh… Time will tell.

Which makes me nervous about this…

Concert Behind Closed Doors

This idea came to me today. So it's not listed on Patreon at all yet. But I have had trouble publishing new Bootleg Concerts for my Heroes. I'm trying to figure out how to organize my files. So I don't repeat shows like I did a few months ago.

One way is by offering new content.

Tuesdays will eventually become my studio recording days, my songwriting days, once I am settled. (If I ever get settled). So the thought occurs that perhaps I can use the day to just record. I'll sing and practice new songs and do it in a podcast form… Hmm… I need a better name than that… And then release it exclusively to my Heroes+ on Patreon.

That's the thought anyway.

I hope to have one of these episodes at least for this month… But we shall see if I do more.

Meantime, sign up on Patreon if you'd like to get a Backstage Pass to this upcoming “show”.

Slainte!
