Marc's Musings

Greetings and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I want to thank everyone who joined me this week for what I dubbed the first annual St. Patrick's Day Internet Music Festival. It was an awesome success. I performed for about thirty minutes a day live for a growing audience. That was the best part of it--seeing the audience grow each and every day.

If you missed the daily, early morning show, that's okay. Because every show was recorded live on Google Hangouts and archived on my YouTube channel. I plan to do more shows now that I have a firm grasp on how to make it happen. So stay tuned!

Tonight is my first (offline) St. Patrick's Day gig of the year. I'm performing at Beef O'Brady's in Hoover, Alabama, just outside of Birmingham. The show is at 7pm. If you're in the neighborhood, I would REALLY appreciate it if you showed up. If I get a good turnout, this could turn into a regular venue for me. I also will be performing in Five Points on Saturday afternoon.

NEW PODCAST

Today marked the end of a 9 1/2 year journey recording the Pub Songs Podcast. The published the final show so I can make room for an all-new podcast that won't be nearly as time-consuming. I also hope to do more videocasts in the future. Not having to worry about the PSP should make time for it.

The new podcast has yet to take podcast form. Right now, I'm publishing each weekly episode my SoundCloud account. As soon as I decide on a cool name for the news show, I will make it available as a full-on podcast.

In the meantime, I'd love your feedback. What do you think of the show?

In each episode, I talk about what's new, pass successes and offer a little insight into my life, all in the span of about five minutes. Don't miss the show this Monday!

I want to thank you as always for your kind support of my music. Have a safe and Happy St. Patrick's Day filled with joy and happiness.

Slainte!
