Marc Gunn - Fun Celtic Music

Marc's Musings

Greetings

Did you hear the great news in the latest episode of The Celtic Geek? Or did you see the video on Facebook?

My wife Gwen is pregnant! We're due to have another baby girl in May. We are beside ourselves with joy and making plans for the happy birth.

In the meantime, I'm making lots of plans for the upcoming months. I'll talk more about it later, but first, let's share the latest news

Can you guess what's new in the Gunn family?

1. CELTIC CHRISTMAS GREETING CARDS ARE NOW ON SALE

I'm happy to announce that my recent Celtic Christmas Greeting Cards project on Kickstarter was fully funded. The album was sent to the printers last week. It should arrive at my home any day now.

That means, you can now order greeting cards to send to your family and friends. The cards (with CDs) are now officially on sale if you want to buy them in big orders. The single CD will go on sale through CD Baby in about a week or two. Same with all the digital outlets.

If you want 10 Greeting Cards, you can order them now. I should be able to send them out at the end of next week. http://celticmusic.org/CelticChristmasGreetingCards

2. NEXT INTERNET CONCERT PERFORMANCE SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 4TH

The Brobdingnagian Bards show last week was a HUGE hit. We had a great crowd at the festival AND online. There were a few internet problems since the show was done live without professional mics. But the response was still overwhelmingly positive. People were happy to see us perform together again.

I scheduled my next SOLO online streaming performance for Thursday, December 4th at 7PM CST. For this concert, I will play songs from my vast musical repertoire. You'll hear Sci Fi Drinking Songs, Scottish songs, Irish songs, you name it!

In fact, you'll even be able to make some song requests since I'll be back in my home studio. The sound will be much better as well.

As always, the show is pay-what-you-want, so order your tickets now and you can decide how much it will cost.

I just want you there and telling your friends too. Order your tickets now at http://marcgunn.com/cw/.

3. T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY

How would you like a free Celtic T-shirt? I need reviews for my podcasts and especially for my albums. I'm willing to give you a shirt for the possibility. Here's how it works...

CD sales and Podcast rankings on iTunes and Amazon are largely affected by how many reviews they have. The album will rank higher if there are lots of reviews. That equals more sales. My Irish & Celtic Music Podcast is the #1 Celtic podcast online partially because it has 400+ reviews.

Christmas is approaching and I am hoping to sell more copies of A Celtic Christmas and my new Christmas CD. In fact, I'd like to see more sales of all my CDs.

Will you please review my music and podcasts?

From now until the end November, each review you post on iTunes or Amazon will enter you into a drawing to win a free limited-edition t-shirt. You can read all the details about it my blog: You Need a Celtic Geek T-Shirt. I Need Reviews

Thank you so much for staying subscribed to my list. I hope you enjoy the content you read. If not, please let me know how I can improve. I want you to be informed and happy. So let me know what I can do better.
