10 Years of Celtic Invasions

Hard to believe. It was ten years ago when I started my Celtic Invasion Vacations. We made at trip to San Gimignano in Tuscany, Italy in May 2009. In September, I hosted a second trip. That time to Dingle, Ireland where I am heading back right now.

I love traveling. I fully believe that quote by Mark Twain that basically says travel opens your mind. You step out of your small world and into new experiences. New synapses fire and explode into life. It’s incredible.

It happens to everyone. But I never saw how much so than when I first took my daughter Kenzie to Ireland in 2012. She lit up and learned like never before. Just because she was introduced to new stimuli. It’s the same with every one of us.

I see it also in the people who travel on my Celtic Invasion Vacations. A small community of people gather together. We explore a new place. And we grow. Together. It’s like being part of a very special family.

In fact, one of our past invaders emailed to let us know she plans to meet up with us in Cork. What a joy to see one of our family

This trip is just beginning. What new adventures will we experience? We will find out soon.

Thanks for joining me on this adventure.

Slainte!
