I am back from another amazing DragonCon.  I must say.  It was awesome!  There's a number of reasons for that.  I'll blog about it through the day, as I  find time between taking care of Kenzie and unpacking from the weekend.

Why was this the best DragonCon ever?

Gwen and Kenzie joined me at the convention.

This was a huge surprise.  Birmingham is only 2.5 hours away from Atlanta.  So Saturday morning, Gwen packed up their stuff, grabbed Kenzie and drove to see me.  I was thrilled.

I was pinned down at the table by hordes of Gunn Runners for much of the weekend.  So Gwen and Kenzie joined me there.  We had lunch together.  The family joined my friends Lisa and Lunatic Fridge for dinner one evening.  Gwen met a ton of my friends.  We gawked at costumes, laughed, and had a wonderful time.

Kenzie played happily with other kids at shows and by table.  She walked all around the con.  Gwen even got to drop into the Exhibitor's Hall to see some of the amazing stuff they have there.

All in all, it was  brilliant time with my family, PLUS some pretty amazing shows that I'll tell you about in a wee bit.
