VIDEO: THE FAIRY POOLS

The Celtic Invasion of the Isle of Skye in Scotland in 2018 took us to The Fairy Pools. It was a wet day with a light rain before we began hiking to the pools. But what an incredible experience. I’m not sure my video adequately captures how beautiful it was. But I tried to capture it. I included my latest recording of “Loch Lomond” from my upcoming album Selcouth.

CELTIC MUSIC *IS* DIVERSITY IN ACTION

Celtic culture is not black and white. There are many different colors and sounds that fit into the Celtic music genre. They all deserve attention.

FairPlé is just one small aspect. It aims to achieve gender balance in the production, performance, promotion, and development of Irish traditional and folk music. They advocate for equal opportunity and balanced representation for all.
