- Coblynau, mine pixies
- Bwbachod, hobgoblins
- People of the Otherworld (Annwn)
TRIO OF IRISH BROTHERS RAISE £2K IN CHARITY CASH BY COMPLETING WELSH TREK
- A TRIO of Irish brothers have raised £2,000 in charity cash by completing an 11-mile trek in the Welsh countryside.
- Every year the siblings, Rob Lynch, Darren Lynch, and Merrill Lynch, embark on an adventure that tests their physical and mental limits, to honour the memory of their late mother, Celia Lynch.
CELTIC SONGLINES: 10/3/2023
- Celtic Songlines, celtic music, Irish music, Scottish music, England
- This week on Celtic Songlines, a Fire in the Kitchen with the Chieftains and Canada's Natalie MacMaster and Dave MacIsaac, more jigs to dance to with Tommy Martin & Patsy O' Brien, a few tunes from the bands Téada and Kefuffle, pagan folk from Faun, always a treat to include songs from Dougie MacLean and Kate Rusby. We wrap it up with fine music from Clannad and Cúig.
OUTLANDER STAR SAM HEUGHAN REVEALS FAVOURITE SCOTTISH TOURIST ATTRACTION
- The popular actor, who plays Highland warrior Jamie Fraser in the hit time-travel TV series, travelled the length and breadth of the country for his Men in Kilts programme.
- Perhaps surprisingly, however, Heughan’s favourite spot wasn’t one of Scotland’s famous lochs, castles or glens, but instead a visitor attraction in the heart of Edinburgh.
WALES TO HOST EURO 2028 GAMES THAT WILL SEE PRINCIPALITY STADIUM CHANGE ITS NAME
- Wales is set to host Euro 2028 with England, Ireland and Scotland. It is understood the European Championships will be held on home soil after Turkey, the only other candidate, pulled out of the bidding process. Turkey are set to host the 2032 tournament instead, according to The Daily Mail.
