I think of my first trip to Gen Con, which was last year. Watching the amazing Friday Night Live show and discovering filk music. I know he didn’t perform The Mining Ship, The Red Dwarf but I found it on youtube. It is my absolute favorite songs that he has performed. I hope to hear that song live, some year.
Kristie wrote: I think of my very talented friend, the Celtic musician, who led me to not only various Ren Faires and other events, but who introduced me to Voltaire’s music and in doing so allowed me to find an entire scene full of like minded creative people. Be they Goth or Celtic music fans, or simply those with a talent for the unusual, hearing Marc’s music and meeting him and through him other performers and artists, has opened up my world and keeps it fresh and interesting.
Music and fun!
I think of great times, wonderful music (even in cold early Feb.weekends) fantastic shirts(great for starting conversations about Celtic music) & sometimes if you are lucky videos to make you think you are there at the show in person.
Cats and great funny music.
I think, “Yay!” Because your music and your podcasts never fail to cheer me up on a bad day or make me happier on good ones. 🙂
