When you hear the name “Marc Gunn”, you think of…

What?

Mike S.  Happy music, a great show and a fellow person of extreme silliness.

LadyMellilah Bint Y.  Dragons. And virgins. Actually I think of other things first, but that was one of my first experiences of you…so I couldn't resist. The first things that come to mind are music and cats and kilts and Ireland and podcasts and generosity and your great big smile.

Mike H.  Celtic music

Robert F.  Don't go drinking with Hobbits

Connie B.  The autoharp! I can always tell it's a Marc Gunn song when I hear the autoharp intro.

Larry W.  Clan Gunn !

Bill B.  Music and Kilts.

David T.  Mudders milk!

Erik W.  faire sweet faire!

Anna H.  KILTS! And getting to sing with you at Dragon*Con. And yammering at anybody who'll listen about terrific Celtic music!

Barbara S.  Celtic music and your giggle.

Dawn-Máire B.  good music and Ireland

Mark S.  Celtic music

Janine O.  Great Celtic Music

Angela H.  MACINTYRE! I get giddy with excitement! I think of amazing Celtic music that is sweet and special and fun. I think of ren fest and DragonCon. Then I start singing or humming….

  1. I think of my first trip to Gen Con, which was last year. Watching the amazing Friday Night Live show and discovering filk music. I know he didn’t perform The Mining Ship, The Red Dwarf but I found it on youtube. It is my absolute favorite songs that he has performed. I hope to hear that song live, some year.

Be they Goth or Celtic music fans, or simply those with a talent for the unusual, hearing Marc’s music and meeting him and through him other performers and artists, has opened up my world and keeps it fresh and interesting.

  2. I think of great times, wonderful music (even in cold early Feb.weekends) fantastic shirts(great for starting conversations about Celtic music) & sometimes if you are lucky videos to make you think you are there at the show in person.

  3. I think, “Yay!” Because your music and your podcasts never fail to cheer me up on a bad day or make me happier on good ones. 🙂
