In the past, I mentioned that I would LOVE to create the Intergalactic Celtic Festival. Logistics-wise, I'm not sure when that will happen, but I am still thinking about. I'm not sure I'm ready to create that level of a show, even with help. So instead I was thinking about something I could do in the meantime, something to build up to the ICF.
I was listening to some podcasts this weekend on artsy stuff. It got me thinking of an interesting idea. There are a lot of Gunn Runners who listen to my music and my podcasts while they create art. Is that you? What would you think of an Artist Retreat?
Imagine for a moment staying in a cottage in some remote area of the country. There are mountains and trees and rolling hills. A relaxing beautiful setting to find peace. But more than that, imagine a group of artists, of all different types gathering together to create art, to share their art, to encourage one another and to make dreams come true.
Now imagine I provided the musical soundtrack for the weekend with fun, musical performances each evening and during the day, some instrumental autoharp music all by yours truly.
A weekend of peace, relaxation, meditation, creativity, art, music, and lots of inspiration.
Does that sound cool to you too? Or is it just me?
Wow, Marc, if I could afford to go to an Aritst’s Retreat, the one you put on would surely be it! I *do* find my most meditative moments when listening to your work. Thanks for the years of inspiration, fellow artiste!
What about those of us non artists:( LOL. sounds incredible but I can only sing along and support.
Seriously….I could see how a group could emerge from that retreat refreshed, inspired, and blessed beyond belief. Wonderful idea!
