You were wondering when or if it would ever happen (I mean every band does it). Last week, I broke the news in my Pub Songs Podcast Science Fiction Convention music.
Nearly two years after going our separate ways, Andrew and I have decided to reunite on stage one more time at DragonCon.The Original Celtic Renaissance, the band who launched the Celtic MP3 revolution, my old band, the Brobdingnagian Bards are gonna do one more show on Friday, September 3rd at one of the biggest Sci Fi Conventions in the world. And you have just one chance to catch our group before we continue on our separate ways.
So experience a rebirth of some of our most-popular songs like “Jedi Drinking Song”, “Do Virgins Taste Better Medley”, “If I Had a Million Ducats”, “Exclamations”, and a ton more.
Then, once you're done enjoying the Bards Reunion show, come catch our new incarnations.
Andrew is now playing in a duo called Flynn's Folly along with our old friend Michelle Hedden. Michelle played bodhran on a couple of my albums. She's brilliant! And of course, Andrew is a master at musical improv and writes some amazing melodies. I haven't heard the new group perform, but I'm sure you'll have a great time catching them at the Con.
And of course, I will be back once again, performing solo. I play Celtic music, the traditional and the twisted. And if you haven't seen me perform recently, you're missing out. I'm told that my on stage performance is better than ever. And the new songs from my new album Kilted For Her Pleasure are just a blast on stage for interactive fun.
The convention is less than two months away. So now's the time to start planning and to get your tickets.
Oh! And don't forget you'll be able to pick up Kilted For Her Pleasure at the convention. You're gonna love this CD!
Finally. Please. Please. Tell your friends to come out and see us perform!
