One of the first things I did when I wanted to better understand the Austin Celtic musical community was to join the Austin Celtic Association. I joined the board and we made great things happen. It was an amazing time for me. I learned a lot about the many different Celtic cultures.

If you too want to better understand your heritage, why not get involved in your community? Or if you don't have cultural organization, grab a few friends and start your own Celtic Cultural Organization. It's fun and an exciting way to meet new people.

How would you like to be a part of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast and/or the Celtic MP3s Music Magazine?

I am looking for a few people to help me out on a few simple tasks, like

• managing the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast myspace page,
• interacting with the Celtic facebook page,
• chatting with folks on Song Henge
• designing graphics and album covers,
• Celtic field reporters with people who know about audio recording and editing
• audio editors, and of course,
• internet promoters.
