When you mentioned doing two special shows, I knew right away the songs I’d recommend. For the Celtic Women show: Woman’s Drinking Song by Gael Sli and for the Songs of the sea show: Wave over Wave – I have three different versions by Knot Fibb’n / Empty Hats / Great Big Sea.

Marc…I am having trouble downloading Podcast #82, your most recent one. I’ve tried on ITunes and just get an exclamation mark(!). I tried twice and now I am here at your website and tried to download here and it failed here as well. Do you know if others have experienced this problem? Thanks…look forward to getting this podcast. You do awesome work in collecting this music for us.
It’s a fine balance. Basically, the podcast is overloading the servers. I have too many people downloading all the shows. Now the balance is that I want to make as many shows easily downloadable as possible. Unfortunately, some people have their podcatcher downloading ALL the shows at once, which hogs up bandwidth. I guess what I need to do is make fewer shows available so more people can download… Sucks, but it’s my only option right now. I’ll do that.
