I love spring. The cool, yet warming weather. I love the glorious flowers and budding trees. But boy do I hate the allergies! I had a great time in Texas, but it's taken all week for my voice to mostly return from the trip.
What a great trip. I should share pictures of my shows at Sherwood Forest Faire. But those will come another time. Here's a couple pictures of us at our campsite and some bluebonnets.
Now I'm preparing to go to JordanCon this weekend. But I have a LOT of new to share. If you're short on time, here's the quick update:

NEW KICKSTARTER COMING FOR COME ADVENTURE WITH ME
I'm trying to finish up the text for my next Kickstarter. The album is called Come Adventure With Me. It's named after a new song inspired by the 1977 Rankin & Bass film, The Hobbit.
I HOPE to launch it at the beginning of May. Just depends if I can write everything up in time.

COFFEE AND PUB SONGS GO PATRON-ONLY
After much back and forthing, I decided to make Coffee with The Celtfather and Pub Songs & Stories Patron-Only.
You can read more about the specific changes on this Coffee blog post and this Pub Songs blog post. But the gist is I need to make more time for creating music.
The shows will continue publicly through May. But Coffee episodes will disappear after a week or two.
Pub Stories will go monthly starting May 1 with no episodes planned for July and we shall see about August.
I guess you could say, it's a good time join the Gunn Runners Club on Patreon.
NEW HOBBIT POLKA SINGLE OUT ON APRIL 25
Sam Gillogly and I are releasing a new single on April 25. It's called “Hobbit Polka”. It's a fun, upbeat romp.
I can't wait to write a dance for it at ALEP this fall. I'm pretty sure my hobbit-loving friends in Kentucky are gonna love dancing to this.
It'll be available EVERYWHERE on streaming or for download on the 25th. However, if you can't wait, you can listen and download if you're on my Patreon page.
VIDEO FLASHBACK – FAMILY ON CHICAGO VACATION
We took a trip to Chicago back in 2018 when I was booked for FuMPFest. I found a video of some of the fun we had on that trip along with the music of “Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea”.
I love the snapper we found. And can't believe how much the kids have grown over the past four years!
