What CDs make you happy?

Asolo, Italy

There's nothing like waking up in the morning to awesome music. I have a special playlist I made for my daughter filled with songs I hope she will love. Right now, she only loves two songs (that I know about): “Rain Falls” by Oscar the Grouch, and “Barbara Ann” by The Beach Boys.

Her playlist also includes a bunch of my favorites, songs like “Open” by Serious Kitchen and “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. Those two songs are cathartic to me. That's the type of music that makes me most happy. It's also the type of music I would love to be most-known for, thus my fondness for The Bridge.

Of course, it's not necessarily the type of music my Gunn Runners prefer. If I was to guess, I'd say my comedy albums were the favorites. You tell me… What are your favorite CDs of mine? Post a comment below.

  1. While they are all good, I’d have to say my favorite is still Don’t Go Drinking With Hobbits. I really can’t get enough of all those songs. After that, it’s a toss up between the cat albums, Happy Songs of Death…and all the others 😉

  2. I will say that Don’t Go Drinking With Hobbits has fast become my go-to “escapism” CD when I’ve had a bad day at work.
