Why do I listen to you. Several reasons. You have a great voice. This is pretty much a requisite for me. A voice has to make me pay attention. Yours does. Another reason, you have written some great tunes. Scouring the Shire, Gosling Reborn, Soul of a Harper, to name a few. I like your interpretation of traditional material as well.
I should have mentioned that I like that you’re not apologetic about promoting your own music.
I listen to your music because the whimsical and fun tunes make me smile and happy, and the instrumentals are hauntingly beautiful and creative. I love the sound of the Autoharp, I play it myself, and I really love the story telling quality to your songs. Whether it’s a new one you wrote or a traditional song, I get caught up in the story and delighted with the music. And I love cats :).
It’s absolutely magical….and it touches on my roots and takes me away to places across the pond where I would rather be than in the States. Also, some if it is just plain damn hilarious and makes me roll on the floor hysterically !! Man, do I ever love you and your music !! The world is a much better place with you in it…. Hugs, gg

I enjoy the combination of your voice, the autoharp, and fun, celtic music. But also, as a Wilson, my family is descended from the Gunn clan, so I’ve thought of you as distant (more talented) family. And it doesn’t hurt that my kids love the music, too. The fourteen year-old aspires to be a Hobbit. 😉
